Robert Melinosky is a seasoned home designer with over 30 years of experience in both residential and commercial architecture. He earned his Bachelor of Science degree from Wentworth Institute of Technology in Boston, where he laid the foundation for a career dedicated to transforming spaces into beautifully functional homes. Robert has a passion for home design that is evident in every project he undertakes. He is a meticulous stickler for detail, ensuring that each element of a design contributes to the overall vision and functionality of the space.
Throughout his extensive career, Robert has developed a knack for providing striking visualizations that bring his clients’ dreams to life. In addition to his design expertise, Robert possesses a hands-on understanding of construction, having personally built three home structures over the years. Currently, he is engaged in an exciting project, remodeling a charming 1954 farmhouse, where he blends modern conveniences with historical charm. His experience doesn’t stop there; Robert has also operated heavy equipment and developed three building home sites in the lush landscapes of Vermont. This practical knowledge allows him to foresee potential challenges in the design and construction phases, equipping him to provide solutions that save time and resources.
Outside of his professional life, Robert enjoys a fulfilling family life with his wife, Michelle, and their four children, who share their home with a delightful assortment of farm animals, including cows, horses, and chickens. Their beloved border collie, Bandit, adds to the lively atmosphere of their home, embodying the warmth and buzz of family life. Robert’s connection to the land and animals enriches his design philosophy, fostering a deep appreciation for nature that often influences his architectural choices.
When he’s not busy designing or remodeling, Robert can often be found indulging in his hobbies. He enjoys landscaping, where he channels his creative energy into designing outdoor spaces that complement his architectural work. Additionally, he has developed skills in cabinet building, taking pride in crafting built-in pieces that add character to his projects. Robert’s love for adventure also leads him to spend time boating and snowmobiling, activities that provide balance to his work-centric life.
