With sketches of an exterior shell already completed by a previous firm, it seemed that the owner was ready to proceed. However, the owner could to come to an agreement on fees for construction documents so both parties agreed to part. The owner was given permission to utilize the design and the firm was compensated properly.
A client architect of mine referred the owner to 4DRDS. We got in and quickly assembled a permitting set. Soon after the owner was handed a more than adequate construction document set. He is now in the building process - mission accomplished.
