With an owner wanting to build in a month without construction documents, on waterfront property, with an existing house that will be partially demolished with a new second floor and roof line, a totally revamped first floor, complete new mechanical systems, and who already got taken from the first designer, do you get involved? Not ordinarily, but this is what 4DRDS does best.

With a team of 4 people, we provided complete design services and all the documentation he required. Below you will see what 4DRDS had to start with, and what he ended up with. With sketches of an exterior shell already completed by a previous firm, it seemed that the owner was ready to proceed. However, the owner could to come to an agreement on fees for construction documents so both parties agreed to part. The owner was given permission to utilize the design and the firm was compensated properly.

A client architect of mine referred the owner to 4DRDS. We got in and quickly assembled a permitting set. Soon after the owner was handed a more than adequate construction document set. He is now in the building process - mission accomplished.
